Packing materials

Navigate through [Admin] > [Imports] and click on Packing materials.

See below an overview how to use the columns in the sheet to upload. The value of the fields must be entered explicitly as given in example to be able to do a successful upload (also displayed as a comment in the sample template that is available from this Import page).

• Record ID: Record-id, only needed if you want to update an existing record.
• Number: Free < alphanumeric > unique mandatory value.
• Name: Free < text > field.
• Level: Free < numeric > field - determines size of packing material, e.g level 3 does not fit into a packing material level 2. If such a transaction is performed then the system will raise a failure msg, unless the 'Ignore container levels' Inventory > Setting is enabled.
• Pickable: Boolean value. Enable to set the packing material as Pickable.
• Physical packaging: Select from the list.
• Physical qualifier: Free < text > field with content euro pallet, block pallet or aluminium tank.
• Description: Free < text > field.
• Weight: Free < numeric > field.
• Weight Unit: Predetermined set of values containing: g (gram), kg (kilogram), lbs (pounds) or oz (ounce).
• Width & Height: Free < numeric > field.
• Length: Free < numeric > field.
• Dimensions Unit: Predetermined set of values containing: cm (centimeter), ft (feet), in (inch), m (meter) or mm (millimeter).
• Event: If no event is entered, event 'concept' will be applied. If the event 'publish' is specified, the record will immediately be updated to state 'active'. Republish after the expiration of packing materials will change the status to active.

Once all fields are filled correctly, click on [Choose File], select the appropriate file and click [Import]. Now the Import result page will be displayed. The Result column will display the successfully imported rows and the number of unsuccessful imported rows.

The successfully imported packing materials will be available from the Packing materials overview.
