A new Netsuite integration setup for customer Bridge to Life has been completed.
Netsuite POD date and name available
Proof Of Delivery date and name is implemented for Netsuite item fulfillment.
New inbound information fields added
Inbounded packaging material, modality, packaging quantity and returned pallet are new fields added to the receiving screen.
The saved information will be displayed in the order header, but can be updated until the last receipt is completed.
Report - Inbounded orders
A new report is available to show all incoming inventory. This report contains the incoming information entered during the purchase and return order receipts mentioned above.

Product maintenance - deleting a component no longer returns a success message if it is not allowed
When a product component line is removed using the trash icon, but it is not allowed we no longer display a success message, but a failure instead.
Kit to order set to false - order line item updated correctly
When components are allocated in a kit-to-order scenario, but will be unallocated, the order lines are updated to state pending. If at that point the setting kit-to-order is turned off again (ignore kit components), it is expected that the order lines are updated to state backordered - if there is no kit product in stock. This did not happen, instead the order line remained pending.
Ability to create a kit with existing components
Page crashed when creating a kit with existing components. This is a regression and has been fixed.
Order state no longer remains in state processing
We fixed that order lines are updated from processing to completed, if the order line items have a completed state e.g. built, cancelled or shipped.

Product maintenance - input fields that should not be updated marked in red
When the component quantity or the component itself is adjusted when this is not allowed, it will be highlighted in red. In addition, we show the corresponding orders that prevents the kit from being updated.
Scrolling in dropdowns
Allowing users to scroll for more than 25 items - while searching - in dropdowns.
This relates to the dropdowns bin location, container (e.g. inventory adjust), customer, products (e.g. sales order), locations, vendor (e.g. purchase order) orders (e.g. return order), totes (e.g. packs).
Allocation alert more informative
By default, when the manual allocation process is completed, a success message is returned with the text "< order_id > has been allocated", even if the order has not been allocated.
In that case, we will show the message "Allocation performed for order < order_id >. Allocated: 0, backordered: 0, cancelled: 0".
Kit product modification restriction expanded
We did not allow kits (the components and the quantity of components) to be changed when order lines were in state processing and if there was inventory available.
The latter has been removed and so we do allow the adjustment to be made when there is available inventory. (available on production, March 26).
Shipment messages to ShipRapid translated
No functional change implemented. However, the shipment .json message sent from OMS to ShipRapid has been translated.
This eliminates the need for a translation in ShipRapid.
Kit to order by product setting no longer navigates to main page
Noted as a known issue in the previous release, the Kit to order setting - in product maintenance - inconveniently takes you directly to the main settings page with the save and delete buttons. This issue has been fixed.
Improved error message during unpicking
When scanning a tote that does not match the order line item, we now display a failure 'Items Tote < tote name > does not match order line item'.

Unallocate kit component no longer allowed
For a kit-to-order flow, components are picked. This means that components can be processed separately. Which potentially means that one of the components can already be packed, while other components are in state picking/picked or allocated. If component(s) are unallocated and then the order is re-allocated, the system would re-allocate all components for that kit product again. Therefor it is no longer allowed to unallocate components, this means that the components must always move with each other.
As an example: if a component is in state packed while the other components for the same kit in state allocated, it will first have to be unpacked and unpicked in order to subsequently unallocate all components. After all, it is only allowed to unallocate a kit product and no longer components individually.
Kit to order configurable by account and product
A new setting, Kit to order is available. This allows you to disable the kit-to-order flow per account.
To clarify, if a kit is ordered and the kit product is out of stock, but the components are not and in a pickable bin location, the order line will not be allocated when this setting is disabled.
To configure the kit-to-order flow per Product, navigate to product management. Click on the Kit To Order tab at the bottom of the page and configure the desired setting.
Note that the configuration by product is leading.

Inconveniently, the Save and Delete buttons take you straight to the main Settings page. Will be fixed in a future release.

Kit product modifications limited
With the exception of the states cancelled, pending and shipped, it is no longer allowed to update kit products if the order line items associated with the ordered kit are in the state backordered, allocated, picking, picked and packed. The kit product, component(s) and kit component quantity can no longer be changed. This also applies to the kit-to-order flow, where the kit components are picked and the kit is build while packing.
known issue
Deleting a component using the trash icon, it returns a success message when it is not allowed. Note that the component(s) is actually not removed. This will be fixed in a future release.
Kit order reference fields not saved
When creating a kit order, the value of both the customer reference number and other reference number fields were not saved. This has been fixed.

Destination location added to kit orders
For kit order details, we are showing an origin location that will be used for allocation, but we were not showing the destination location in the order header, line and line item details. This has now been added.

Kit assembly process improved
From the picklist plan, the applicable orders can now be selected based on order type and product category. Note that the product category is based on the order-line-item.

The discount value on the order-line is now deducted on the invoice papers and Paperless Trade.

Inbounded inventory items display issue
In this report we displayed current data, including serial numbers that were entered during packing, that has been resolved.
And the received quantity column gave an incorrect display when inventory items were purged, this has also been fixed.
Duplicate order lines are no longer displayed when filtering
Filtering by account > origin location from an overview showing duplicate lines is fixed.
Information on shipment json does not correspond with information on orderline (released 27/11)
In the same way we now look in line with the invoice at the order_lines customs value with priority, if this is not a positive number we look at the product customs value.
The same goes for the price. This prevents misinformation for the value of kits.
No more duplicate product categories imported
When importing products and selecting the same product category (for another product) duplicate product categories were created. This issue is now resolved.
List product category for sub-accounts
In product maintenance we only displayed product categories for the current account and not the accessible sub-accounts, this is now fixed.
User role restriction fix
If a user role (e.g. reporting) is not allowed to allocate an order, we use to restict this from the order details in the context menu, but not using the multi-select in the order overview, this has been fixed.
Manually open/close containers failure fix
Manually opening and closing a container, no longer returns a 404 page.
Dropdown product name fix
No product name was displayed in the inventory overview, but that has now been resolved.
Calendar autofill fix
We no longer automatically fill in today's date using the navigation buttons.

Unable to pick expired units for a scrap order
For scrap orders, the user now has the option to enter a lot number and/or an expires on date, but this is not required.
If this is not filled in, it (while allocating) will apply all lot numbers and/or expiration dates for that product.
An order-line is no longer cancelled if no stock is available, but updated to backordered, once the allocation process is complete.
If stock is available, but not in a picking bin, the state is updated to pending. This is system default behaviour.
Order(lines) will no longer be cancelled if there is expired stock in a receiving bin. For scrap orders, we allow to allocate/pick/pack and ship expired stock.
Picking an expired inventory item from a container failed: "Could not register pick, inventory expired." and is now fixed.
Display product category account
Selecting a product category from the picklist plan or product maintenance, the associated account is now displayed.
Automatically fill in origin location
If a user only has one accessible location, the origin location will be automatically populated when creating an order.
Automatically filter by current location for multiple screens
We automatically filter data in the Shipments, Orders, Inventory, Inventory Items and Containers overview if the location is blank or if it matches the current (origin/destination) location.
Destination location displayed in order header
For a purchase- and return order we now display the destination location in the order header details.
Show picklist in mobileApp when re-allocation is completed
Introduced a new picklist state - reallocating. If reallocating is required (because a standard bin is configured for the product(s) to be picked), the picklist will not be visible in the mobile app until this process is completed. When no reallocation occurs or the process is completed, the picklist state will be updated to - pending.
No serial number field for outgoing products while receiving
Serial number field will no longer be displayed for outgoing products during receiving inventory process.
Calendar navigation updated
It is now possible to navigate by year.
Dropdowns pop up improvement
Dropdowns will now automatically fold up when there is not enough space to fold them down.
Added email/name in order header
The email address and name of the person who created the order will now be displayed in the order header.
Add images for a product improved

Bulk pack and ship
A new Bulk pack and ship option is made available.
To speed-up packing and shipping during black Friday or specials, the packing/shipping process is accelerated.
This feature requires that you bulk-pick orders and is especially useful for a high volume of single-product (low quantity) orders.
It supports processing serialization mode outbound, full and non-serialization mode products. In the latter case, the serial number text field is not displayed.
Note: serial number ordering is not supported.
As mentioned in the release notes of 2024.3 a new user role set up for accessing the Bulk pack and ship option is made available. In order for the user to successfully use this option, the Packer and Shipper roles will also need to be added. If this is not configured a failure is raised while bulk pack and shipping a container.
Additionally, there are a number of conditions that the bulk pack and ship process must meet.

- If there are too many inventory items in the container, a warning message is displayed to pick inventory items from the container instead. Since the Bulk pack and ship option only allows containers as input, it is advisable to ensure that the container contains the same amount or less inventory items than required, to completely pick the container.

- Commercial invoices, Packlists and Shipping labels will be printed in the same sequence. Trying to prevent papers from getting mixed, a sequence number indicator is printed in front of the order identification number on the Shipment description and parcel description.

- If a shipping label (from an integrated carrier) could not be generated, a notification label (with order identification details) is printed.

- Tip! When there is no Shipping method on the order, no label will be printed at all and the paperwork (label/packlist) will no longer be in line. Therefore, when making a Picklist plan, always choose a Shipping method.

- The sequence of the scanned serial numbers is maintained while processing the orders. This means that the 1st scanned serial number is assigned to the first order, the 2nd scanned serial number is assigned to the 2nd order, etc. If this order has more than one order line item, the consecutive serial number that is scanned is assigned.

Auto-ship failure message fixed
If an account uses auto-ship while packing, no failures are raised if shipping a shipment fails (e.g. unable to generate a waybill label due to an invalid zip code).
This is now resolved. If a shipping label is not created due to this e.g. postcode validation failure, it will display the appropriate failure pop-up.

The customs price of the product will override the product price (existing functionality), but if the order line price is present, this will be printed on the invoice.

Add to open Shipments false no longer ignored
If the setting Packing: Add to open shipment is set to true, but manually set to false from the Packs screen, it did not create a new Shipment. This has been fixed.

If the expires on date does not match the inventory item(s), the page will no longer be submitted, followed with a failure message. It will now remain on the page and display 'no match found on order' under the expires on field.
Orders overview automatically filters on current location
When switching e.g. from NLD-CASABLANCA to NLD-INCHEON, the origin location column is automatically filtered.
Location automatically filled for accounts with single location
When an account only has access to one location, it automatically fills in the origin, or destination location (depending on order type) with current location.

In some cases, product information was missing on a container label, but fixed a day after releasing 2024.3.
Container view filter fix
While child account (e.g. Meater) is selected as current account, we were also displaying parent account (Rapid) containers. This is now resolved.
Parent accounts display containers from the parent account and from child accounts, while child accounts display child accounts containers only.

Re-allocation
Re-allocation occurs after the Picklist is created.
While re-allocating, the system searches for the most efficient way for that moment and takes into account if inventory should be allocate from a standard bin or bulk locations. This means that the initial allocation can only be seen as a stock reservation.
Bulk picks vs Fine picks
What separates Bulk Pickers (Reach Trucks) and Fine Pickers (walking pickers).
Fine picking is only applicable in the case the product has a standard bin (configurable under the Warehousing tab in product maintenance). If there is sufficient inventory on a standard bin, a fine picker will pick the inventory. In all other cases, we speak of bulk picking.
When bulk picking/replenishment is involved there are a number of rules that apply in sequence:
- Pallets that are on PICKING bins but NOT on the standard BINs (standard bins are used by fine pickers).
- Opened pallets at BULK locations.
- FIFO on BULK locations.
- If FIFO equals -> smallest QTY.
Bulk Pickers pick directly or replenish from a bin locations whose purpose is bulk or picking.
An example below is a table that indicates which picking strategy is recommended based on the re-allocation of inventory.

Picking strategy
Based on the two tables above the following picking strategy is suggested.
- Because no inventory is available on a standard bin (used by fine pickers) this scenario becomes a BULK pick/replenish scenario.
- Closed containers will not be given priority.
- a) Filtered container #CNTNR2, #CNTNR3, #CNTNR4, #CNTNR5 and #CNTNR7.
- Open container #CNTNR7 has less inventory, but it is received later.
- b) Filtered container #CNTNR2, #CNTNR3, #CNTNR4 and #CNTNR5.
- FIFO equals to containers #CNTNR2, #CNTNR3, #CNTNR4 and #CNTNR5, select the smallest quantity.
- c) Filtered container #CNTNR3 and #CNTNR4.
- d) Container #CNTNR3 expires later.
- e) Filtered container #CNTNR4.
Replenish the opened container #CNTNR4 with an earlier received_on date containing the smallest quantity and expires the soonest.
User role Replenisher
This role can only perform replenishments via the mobile app, but it can be combined with any other role.
It is not allowed for a picker to replenish.
It is not allowed for a replenisher to pick.
For this reason, the Pick and Replenish views - at the bottom of the screen - will only be displayed, if the roles are combined.
Mobile app separates picklists views
Fully pickable and Need replenishment subviews, have been added to distinguish picklists that are completely ready to be picked and picklists that still need to be replenished.
The advantage of this is that pickers can already start picking while a replenisher moves inventory.
Fully pickable
Container(s) of allocated inventory are displayed. If not scanned, a popup will appear with the option to scan a different container or proceed.
No container is displayed for picklist lines that are completely picked (or picking loose inventory items).

Note: If a picklist line is partially picked and skipped - compare both screenshots above - the picklist will display it as partially skipped in the picklist overview.
Need replenishment
A standard binlocation must be replenished if the order quantity is more than what is available.
It is allowed to replenish inventory to a non-standard bin. It is not allowed to replenish inventory to a standard bin for another product. This means that it is not possible to configure multiple bin locations for the same product.
To be able to replenish and indicate to the pickers if a product on the picklist should be replenished we give the picklist line a state - replenish. However, if no picklist can be generated because inventory cannot be allocated, visit the report Inventory On Non Standard Binlocations.

Report Inventory on non standard bin-locations
If a standard bin location is configured for a product, but there is no inventory on an allocatable binlocation (purpose: bulk/picking), but instead on a non-allocatable bin location, for example replenishment, a picklist cannot be generated. This report can then be used to see which stock needs to be moved to replenish the (standard) binlocations.
Skip a bin-location while picking
If a bin-location is inaccessible, it can be skipped via the swipe functionality in the picking app.
Simply swipe left from the order-line-item, it will be highlighted as yellow. The status of the picklist-line is updated to skipped. Revisiting the picklist and picking the skipped picklist-line(s) will update it to picking or complete, but can also be canceled by canceling the picklist.
Binlocations details may be changed if inventory is available
Following rules are applied.
- Allocatable bin locations (picking, bulk, and problem) can be updated with a different purpose or zone, walkway, aisle, rack, shelf, section and bin, but only when there is no inventory in state picking.
- Non-allocatable bin locations (receiving, packing, shipping, replenishment, defective, returns, hold, kitting) can be updated at any time to a new purpose or a new bin, zone, aisle, walkway, rack, section, and shelf, with inventory on them.
Inventory item received on date added
Received on date is used for (re)allocation of stock. A column Received On has been added to the overview of Inventory Items.
Default shipping method by country
It is now also possible to set a destination country as a variable when configuring the default shipping method.
Report Serial numbers on hand
A new report is added to identify which serial numbers are on hand.
Hold-logic added to containers
From the container context menu it is now possible to put containers on hold. Once a container is on hold, it is no longer permitted to, for example allocate or pick the container or its content.
As per the hold logic a Ticket is raised and should be used to release it.
Inventory move between locations
An import Move option is available in the container overview that makes it easier to move containers to another location.
From the container details page it is possible to manually move a container to another location.
Mobile app - queryable info on bin location or container
There are three values that can be scanned from the home-screen.
- Tote - navigates to the related order(s) and continues picking.
- Bin location - shows the values; Name, Purpose, Zone, Walkway, Aisle, Rack, Shelf, Section, Bin and for which product this bin is configured as standard.
- Container - displays the values; Name, Open or Close, Bin Location, Packing Material, State, the product(s) it contains and the overview of containers with their quantities.
Import kit orders
We have the ability to manually create kit orders and now this is also available via the order import.

Serial number ordering
Added functionality for serial number ordering:
- if a serial number is ordered, it is displayed in the order details as Ordered SN.
- if it is not on hand, the orderline-item will be updated to backordered (if configured).
- if the serial number is moved to a picking/bulk binlocation, it will first search for an order requesting this serial number rather than allocate it to the most recent order created.
Pending order lines automatically allocated
Order lines in state pending were not automatically allocated, only (if configured) for order lines in state backordered.
Standard binlocation validation
A standard binlocation can no longer be configured for more than one product.
A product can no longer be configured for more than one binlocation.
Unallocation (LIFO)
When allocating, the system takes into account when inventory is received or expires. This did not happen in reverse during inventory unallocation and has been resolved.

Shopify order fullfillment fix
On shipping, a fullfillment message is sent, however if the shipment failed and moved back to pending the order at Shopify is fullfilled, while the order in OMS is not.
We now only send the fullfillment message to Shopify once the shipment is successfully shipped.
Invoice calculation Le New Black fixed
The unit price was calculated twice, both in the integration and in the invoice template.
Now we calculate this only while generating the invoice.
Product category not correct for shipped products report
The product category is now displayed per product per row, which resolves the issue.
Manually open a container returned a page crash
Even though the page returned a 404, the container was actually opened. Now the page no longer crashes.
Expand and collapse functionality is now working as expected
The indicator, whether a side menu is collapsed or expanded did not work properly for the overview options that require double-clicking.

Picklist plan changes
- For consistency, the page has been updated to use similar fields we use system-wide.
- Fully Allocated is no longer displayed as a field, but as a Boolean flag named Fully Allocated Only. If the flag is set to false, it will include fully and partially allocated orders.

While importing a new sheet for Scrap, Return or Transfer orders, using a customer reference that already exists, we updated these orders.
Importing orders only within one transaction (within the same sheet), the order is updated for the same customer reference if multipli lines are used.
It is not allowed, once the order is created successfully, to update the same order using the same customer reference. This is now fixed.
Picklist search fixed
Searching for a Picklist from the picklist overview using the Search function, did not return the desired result, this has now been resolved.

Holiday dates not properly displayed
We no longer display an 'error' on the Start On / End On data, in the Holdays overview.

- If there is no match found on one or multiple sn's for the 'lot'/'expiry on' values, it returns a failure (under the corresponding field).

Tickets are devided into two kinds. Automated and Manual tickets. All tickets created manually will be visible from the Tickets - Workorders overview. While Tickets generated automatically (e.g. in case an order is moved to hold), will be displayed in the Tickets - Problems overview. A combination of both will be displayed in Tickets.

Role Base Access Control
If a user has roles other than Account Owner the user can see the regular inventory listing, when the user has no roles or is only an Account Owner the user can only see the Inventory Consolidated and Inventory Kits overviews. Clicking on a row in the consolidated overview will lead these users back to the same overview (where other users can see the inventory items index with details including bin location).

Changed Billing has had many changes, we've split the menu in an admin and an end-user menu. Clicking billing will take you to invoices straight away. The biggest changes are around how billing-events are filtered for rate-types, which should drastically simplify as well as make billing more powerful. When you would scan the container, it then could happen that we did't pick the units in the container, but the ones outside of the container.
